FOREWORD

Above Ground is an action-packed serial which originally ran from mid-2009 to early 2010. It was my first foray into webfiction, and the first novel I ever finished. Writing by the seat of my pants had its downsides, however. When I began working on the sequel, Between Worlds, I realised just how much was wrong with Above Ground. My novel wasn't finished: it was ugliest first draft in existence.

I bit the bullet and am reworking, revising and extending the original story. The serial updates on Tuesdays and is expected to complete posting in August 20th 2012. I hope you enjoy the ride.
