It really works well having the additional storyline running with Lilith’s and Silver’s, though it does mean you can keep us hanging on any one of them for longer. ;P

Lilith’s parents are both so focussed on their own agendas that they lack any empathy with Emma. Makes me feel very sorry for her, and makes it more understandable that Lilith and Emma chose to go to the theatre without full permission. Can see where Lilith gets her mental strength, not to mention her occasional disregard for the consequences of her actions (typical teen though, we all go through that).

There are very few things I’ve read that jar with the original, despite the changes, and a lot of the added information solidifies the story. If I can pin down anything that really stands out, I’ll email you. Meanwhile, post early!

Much more realistic than in the first draft, and I rather like feeling worried for her and wondering what is going to happen. Does this mean the newspaper article disappears?

Finally reading the re-write

Enjoying it immensely so far, though I find it a bit jarring that she thinks of him as “Wolf”, rather than “the Wolf”. Not sure if that’s because I know where the story is headed.

Some great ideas you’ve added in, particularly enforcing why she doesn’t try to go home immediately. The barrenness was a surprise, I guess I pictured much of it as woodsy sort of country.

Nice to know that I’ve got plenty to keep reading before I have to be patient and wait for an update.

Thanks! I do intend to add more storylines to this choose your own adventure eventually, making it more and more complex. First I need to figure out a good way to draw a map of the existing story, though!

At one point I even considered having readers contribute to this CYOA, either by directly writing parts, or suggesting storylines . . . we’ll see.

Scary! I held my breath at moments..I tend to get too into these things! But it was fun. My only problem was that there could have been more endings. But then again I guess it was meant to be short (take the complaint as a compliment in that I wanted it to go on)
